Dyanet Alvarez, MD, is a board-certified neurologist with specialized expertise in epilepsy and a strong focus on the unique needs of women with epilepsy throughout all stages of life. Her clinical specialties include epilepsy, headaches, migraines, seizures, general neurology, and neurophysiology.
Dr. Alvarez earned her medical degree from the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. She went on to complete a neurology residency and an epilepsy fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. A proud South Miami native, Dr. Alvarez is honored to return to her hometown to care for the community that shaped her.
